All true. The difference between this and other books on education is that it includes solutions to the intractable problems that exist, brought to you by a scientist turned educator turned author who tells stories that elucidate the present state of affairs.

    Why they fail?
    School reform promises too much.
The various movements over the years are rooted in politics and not real change.
Misconceptions that educated people are economically the most productive.
Attitudes, society, and disproportionate wealth...can kill any ideas that education reforms will work for the general population.
