Should Huck Finn be taught in schools?

    Yes, I think it's important to learn how extensive and casual racism was/is. Huck's father was bitter and angry and instead of making changes in his own life to improve it he could feel better because he wasn't a N***r (writing this from work computer). That still happens now. We read this book in high school and discussed it without anyone calling us N***r. White, working class people are angry because life isn't working out for them the way they expected and they blame black and brown people. They vote for people who make their life worse because they tell them what they want to hear. This has happened since the founding of our country.
