Poughkeepsie is rapidly moving forward, making up for 8 years of meandering. The Mayor's comittment to Main Street is already making a difference. The hoped-for adoption of new ordinance regarding agressive panhandling will help restore Main Streets reputation. In the coming months residents, property and business owners should expect noticeable improvements to the heart of our city, the Central Business District. Join us April 1st for the launch of First Friday on Main. It is for all of you!
