Should journals have a category of "self-retraction" reserved for honest error?

I'm wondering what are the real reasons leading to a honest mistake. I feel this is mainly due to lack of attention, time pressure and bad communication between authors. In my opinion a good scientist should be able to deal with all those factors to cope with the pushing system while doing high quality research.

Honesty can never be compelled but is only found in those who hold it as a virtue or an absolute principle governing their behavior. Those who have and will produce fraudulent research are risk-takers and highly motivated and I suspect will be able to manipulate any checks (to ensure honesty) thereby 'beating the system.
