Controversial to who? People that believe in something they can't prove is real, yet say it's real. Can you get anymore controversial than that? Hey, that God they believe in watched on as millions of little boys get raped, by his teachers he appointed, in his houses he built and did nothing to stop it. Not only did that God not stop his teachers from raping little boys, he just moved them to a new place so they could rape more little boys. You know what, tell them next time they talk to God, ask him if he knew little boys were being sexually assaulted in his churches for 2000 years then ask him how many? See if he wants to answer that or turn you into a burning bush?

As a Catholic and a Cuse fan, I thought it was great! And Harlan is one of the best voices in the game.

    Let's go Orange!

At least the man has some understanding of Easter. To all those complaining. Really?

Who made this an issue? This is why Trump is leading in the polls! People are tired of politically correctness!!!

I wouldn't say it was "offensive", as your poll asks. To ask if it was "great" or "offensive" is too narrow. It was actually a cliche, not "great".

Seems like USA Today might need to apologize to Kevin Harlan. Clearly 80% of Readers disagree with this article rather than his call.

I asked Jesus what he thought about the call; He said it was funny!

Please let's not go "politically correct" on something so trivial as this. Yes, it was somewhat over-the-top but not offensive or disrespectful in any way. Syracuse won and will now face another #1, the dreaded UNC. What I'm really looking forward too are the final four match-ups. OKU vs. Nova and 'Cuse vs. "The Heels". The final four hasn't been this interesting in quite awhile. If 'Cuse does win the national championship, wouldn't this be another story book ending for a basketball legendary "Big East" coach. Well, its fun to speculate.

Some people seriously need to get over themselves. Broadcasters wait and wait and wait for the perfect moment to work in that perfect line that is tied in to something. Well played Harlan, and if your offended by this, allow me to add to the offensiveness. Go punch yourself in the face...with a sledgehammer!!!

Can you imagine if it had been a comment that offended followers of Islam? It would be a world wide outrage and President Obama would be apologizing to all the Muslims of the world.

Some people have to get their act together! It is a Basketball game! A Game!
