What do you think of the recent increase in red cards?

    the players in general but more so for some teams like DC, Phi, or NE, look to see what the refs will let them get away with. So trying to clean that up a little is a worthy goal. But not with these refs. Just look at the mess Geiger made of the Red bulls V Revs game. Improving on field behavior is a worthy goal. Improving the quality of refereeing is not only more worthy, more necessary, would be more timely. Alas!

    I don't have much of a problem with giving more red cards as long as the there is consistency. The game gets better when players learn how to play without injuring their opponents. At times I have wondered whether someone was actually out to get a player injured. That's not good. The ref should also never be suspected of throwing a game.
