I agree with the writers that even though she had a tragic end, she redeemed herself by trying to do the right thing.
I personally was shocked the writers decided to end it for Nina...it was totally stupid. Nina was one of the major reasons a lot of people watched the program. It was predictable but a really creative group of writers could have come up with a realistic way to keep her alive and part of the crew. VERY BAD DECISION!!!
