Rising levels of the ocean impact the ebb and flo of the tides. When these tides start taking more land as we see in the Pago Bay area, residents see a little of the loss in walking along the beach side with ease. As in the Talofofo river it portends to a small degree of the desctructive nature to land bordering major rivers.
We are getting a foretaste of things to happen in the future. Let's plan for this inevitability like they did in New Orleands, Louisiana.

The Umatac Bay is my backyard, but I never really noticed the rising sea level. I think I should go down to the beach more often.
