My wife and I used to eat at Earls in Calgary at least twice per month.
We will never go back. i don't care that they've had a change of heart.
I will never trust them with my loyalty again - they will never make another penny off me.

I have seen a lot of feed lots in Kansas. If that is any more humane than lots on Alberta, I would be surprised! Bye-Bye Earls for me!

This is absolutely shameful that Earls restaurant founded in 1982 with their first restaurant in Edmonton Alberta will now abandoned the best beef on the planet. Local Earl's owners will be hurt by this and that is unfortunate & unnecessary... Wake up Earl's and remember if you want loyalty you need to give loyalty!!

Earls us trying to blackmail Alberta farmers into paying for a certification from the Americans. They know darn well Alberta farmers already meet the criteria. I think Earls ploy has backfired. I wish them them well in the USA..Goodbye Earl!!!

Earls has forgotten one simple thing Canadians are slow to anger but when we do get mad there will be hell to pay. You can see the anger building in the comments. Had Earls done the reverse in the States there stores would have been thrashed and they would out of business by the end of the month. What makes them think we as Canadians will just let them get away with this.

Yes they employ many Canadian people, but many more Canadians are the ones supporting Earls. What about all the farms and ranchers !!

^^ I think you've completely forgot about Canadian ranchers. Should people support companies bad decisions because they employ people? So before commenting seriously think about what you're going to say.

Thanks for the support. How is boycotting a business that employs many people that have no control over decisions the company makes fair. You are now as bad as the problem you claim to have with earls. By boycotting you hurt the everyday working class person employed by earls. So before boycotting seriously think of the implications your actions s have.
