Do you think “smart-gun” technologies such as proximity sensors or biometrics would improve gun safety?

Just wait until a police officer or home owner NEEDS that firearm and the battery is dead. Or the have to use their left hand to shoot, or any one of many ways that trick can fail. Who do you think will get sued by his survivors? You know the senators and president will be exempted from any responsibility for the innocent persons death.
