Yes that was definitely insulting. Here is your pep talk though... Yes you may be dedicated to your job and community and that is a compliment, but it doesn't mean you won't find the right man. He is out there and he will live that you are so dedicated. He will probably love the same things you do and be just as dedicated. So tell that beep you don't need her opinion.
