Do you agree that beer and wine should be sold at UNM football and basketball games?

UNM seems to think that selling booze in the football stadium will cut down on tailgating in the parking lot. Newsflash: selling $8 beers in the stadium will not stop people from loading up before the game. Clearly, the officials pushing this have never sat in the stands with the general public at University Stadium, or they would know that this is a very bad idea. UNM use to have a family friendly environment, but not any more. Fans have griped about metal the detectors they have to pass through upon entering the stadium/arena....wait until some drunk spills beer all over you and then tells you to "go ____ yourself" if you don't like it. Oh, and lets add to our already growing DWI problem while we're at it. DUMB.

The worst experiences and memories I have of attending Lobo football games revolve around "fans" being drunk in the stands. SERVING alcohol inside the stadium will only serve to make things worse. You can try to control who buys the alcohol, but not who consumes it. This will take us down the wrong road FAST. Please don't allow it.
