Cops see assholes like this run from them and crash into an innocent family injuring or killing someone. If judges would lay down a more serious punishment maybe dipshits wouldn't run and just pull over. Don't be so quick to judge people that see more hurt and death in a month than most people would ever see in a lifetime. obv not condoning the actions but understand the emotions. How about discipline and counseling instead of firing those guys...

The point is that we hire police to keep the peace and not to break the law. Maybe it's time to drug test officers? ABS drugs seem to find wide acceptance in the police communities. We are well aware of their effects! ...................How do we know the physical or mental condition of the suspect? Does he need jail time? What makes to officer decide that he is judge and jury? Keep this case in mind the next time we hear of an unarmed person being shot dead by police. If it's ok to punch one in the face then must it be equally ok to take his life?
