Do you agree with the decision to eliminate bodychecking from lower levels of Midget Hockey?

As a Head Coach of Midget 6 last year this is wrong. I also assisted on a Bantam team this year that had no contact and it was not a fun year at all. The parents in the stands were way more angry then at the midget games so also don't buy that argument. So much stick work and bad games in Bantam this year and why no percentage for the body contact penalty on the states! That cause I am sure it would not fit it was so high! The rules are in place to keep everyone safe! If we coach, ref, and play the game properly then body contact is not a big issue. Also I feel for the players who want to play hockey but are forced to play this non contact rec hockey with so much stick work. Boy was that fun last year, NOT! If you don't want to play full contact hockey go to Rec and if Rec is bigger then regular stream hockey then so be it. Hockey Calgary needs to stop distroying the game at the lower levels!
