After the success of the cardboard version, should Dundee build a proper Royal Arch at the waterfront?

I can't believe that Dundee Corporation demolished the old town house ( The Pillars) which was a beautiful building and left the Royal arch ( which in my opinion was a hideous monstrosity) standing until 1964.
Dundee's waterfront is being vastly improved so please don't ruin the good work by bringing back this carbuncle.

How about a modern version of the Royal,Arch more in keeping with the aspirations of modern Dundee?

And who exactly are the bandits? It was covered in soot and generally regarded as an eye-sore. When it was pulled down noboy was that bothered. The people of Dundee didn't want it.
