Do you think photo radar in construction zones is a good idea?

    Fully agree with Brennan that it would be helpful but used only when the actual work is happening. Some construction zones are signed for months with no progress or apparent work being done.

    Yes put up photo radar, but lower the speed only during work hours (or when the road is opened up and unsafe). Then fine the pants off the construction companies if they don't cover the "slow to 60" signs.

    In Saskatoon they cut the speed on circle drive 24 hours a day for work 30 feet into the ditch (not on the road at all) and then have cops giving out speeding tickets at 11pm without a soul in the area.

    It would be better to advise people ahead of the radar that there will be photo radar.They do this in France allowing drivers to adjust speed accordingly...It's not about making money ie cash grab but encouraging drivers to drive safely
