I hold my husband's hand during the Our Father and my immediate family does too.. our children and granddaughters.. no one else's... we do not
Raise our hands... I do NOT Like shaking hands at Sign of Peace at all.. you see people touching their noses, using tissues and coughing all through Mass.. why do we have to touch other people's Hands????

God looks at our hearts when we worship in Spirit and Truth. It doesn't matter whether or not we raise our hands when we pray. By the way, Protestants are Christians. They believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

When I'm with my family we don't. When I'm in the choir, everyone else does, so I do even though I'd prefer not to. I don't think it is appropriate, but I also don't think it would be charitable to "make a stink."
