Floats were judged according to what village and what government agency. It was the military that liberated our Island, why was there no military category of winner(s). There was a few military float both from Andersen and Naval Base Guam. LIBERATION speaks for itself " The day Uncle Sam came back, fought, lives were lost, all to liberated the Island of Guam from the enemy.

I can tell you that the Liberation Day parade is no the same as it used to be back in the day.
The numbers of spectators are declining every year.
The parade is lacking the spirit of freedom.
The future generation don't know the meaning of freedom until they lose it !

Bring back more floats as opposed to trucks or cars with company names on them. The best part was the creativity of each float.

Where was the War Reparation tent ? I didn't see any . God Bless the United States of America and our Kick Ass Military !
