I only voted that i wouldn't do this because I'm the one that needs the help right now! In many years I'd love to provide more hands on help to young mothers.
Doctors are remarkably poor at diagnosing Post part depression. The latest family occurrence, the doc ordered thyroid tests. Not a bad ruling out test, but he ignored symptoms anyway. Also blood loss with hormones lost. The Mormons in this area of AZ have mandatory visits of mothers and it works fine with them. I know more people who become Mormon than Mormons who become Catholic.
