My T drinks from her dish and when I don't have water in it she will; go up to it and feel then turn back and just sit and wait
I also have seen Tarantulas drinking..the size of the drink bowl depends on the size of the enclosures. All creatures need water. You could also small Smooth stone. Works for me. so crickets fwon't drown.
