In the city square, string piano wire high up cris crossing from building to building, Iv'e seen it work elsewhere, it deters the gulls.
To help the council pay for nest removal services there should be a fine for those feeding the gulls, Also more folk need to report gulls nesting instead of just moaning about them , this would help a lot.
