I'm partly in agreement with some of the comments here already, but I can't help thinking that this is an opportunity to change things for the better. I don't know web hosting enough to suggest a newer, more responsive platform, but I AM agreeable to a paid site ($3-5?) if the site were more accessible. What features would the members like to see? There are consequences, of course, for the moderator, but that would hopefully ease off fairly quickly once we've settled in.
This is a very specialist 'fetish' site, so I would hope we'd all recognise that and react supportively.
I would hate to see the site disappear, but, alternatively, perhaps there are other sites out there that would be willing to merge?

I would have to leave as I now live on a fixed income, and I am not in the US, but Canada where the dollar is between .70 to. 75 cents now to US dollar. My suggestion would be move to another hosting site. I know when Ning stopped allowing nudity most moved to Socialparody. However this past spring that seems to have crashed.
There is Yahoo to create a group on even though the future of Yahoo is uncertain now that it is owned by Verizon. There is also groups.io like yahoo but without the glitches that came with NEO on Yahoo. Sadly their free version only offers a gig a storage. However they have fairly cheap paid versions.
I moved my Yahoo groups to groups.io was a bit of pain, but well worth it. If moving this site is more work then you want, see if you there are members who would assist in running the new group. I am just not sure it would be worth the cost to you to keep the site, as I am not sure if you get enough willing to pay.

I never log in anymore. There are other places that does the same thing and no nudity restrictions and 100% free.

While the idea of Datedick was fantastic, the lack of user engagement and community building left much to be desired.
I have not met any long standing friends on this website...the pictures are fantastic, but I believe the lack of nudity and global encouragement to connect - perhaps via video chat or even with real life meet ups - allowed for a lot of connections to go unfulfilled.
It's a shame that this has to happen. This website had a lot of potential to bring together a lot of like-minded kinky people. I cannot afford to pay so I will have to leave. All the best with this project.
