The issue of standing fans in the London Stadium rumbles on. Should those who are on their feet sit down or not in order to get the capacity up to 66k?

Until things are sorted, and they will, stop annoying fellow fans who for one reason or another wish to sit down during the game. My visit to the ground (area 238 Row 68) against Bournemouth did not involve anyone standing nearby. Oh yes my view was good and I did not need my bins.

What has sitting down got to do with getting the capacity up to 66k. They cannot go above 60k without more toilets and catering facilities. Until the problems with stewarding and segregation are sorted out they cannot go above 57k.

Standing is not the reason that the safety group is limiting the capacity to 57,000. The SAG approved the increase to 57k at their last meeting - if standing was the issue then that increase would not have been allowed.
