His sister. In "Cornell Confidential" the secretary tells Cornell that Kate and Neil were arguing bc he was having sex with her sister in law in his office, Eric's sister. His sister's "husband" gave her the divorce papers the day of the party. I'm thinking sister flips out on Kate and accuses her of ruining her marriage by revealing the affair...I don't think she intentionally does it though. Maybe yelling and shoving and it went too far. :(
