The author is correct. If Hillary wins, there will still be a country, but her election will be an irreversible triumph for the Left's administrative state. The country will go on, but it will not be a constitutional republic.

The author is histrionic; conservatism has suffered some reverses, but nothing we cannot recover from. The pendulum has always swung.

The author has actually understated the danger. Paternalistic Big Government, the decay of our educational system, and the cannibalization of civil society and religious institutions have reached chronic levels. It may already be irreversible.

The author is a Trump apologist worried about the sky falling. The fact is, the Republican candidate knows nothing of statesmanship and is at best a pandering buffoon feeding bread to the unwashed masses while giving them a circus. Like her or not, we'll be better off with another Clinton as POTUS

Great piece w proofs offered instead of the usual hyperbole.

While polling the Readers of a gun mag may not be...'scientific' it is certainly reassuring!
