I put economy because I have not had a raise. I do among the most possible miles per regulation per year, give great customer service, do not have license nor drug problems. It is my opinion I am worth $70,000/year as a company driver. Because of the rates, my employer does not agree. My money is worth less every year, so either my dollar needs to have more value, or our rates have to go up. There needs to be a positive correction in the economy. We deserve higher pay: and with fewer regulations, fewer hands in the pie, or more of whatever it takes, we will better be able to support our families. $70,000 should be the average. We keep getting more technology annoyances, and the companies would rather eliminate drivers completely, but until that day arrives, we deserve higher pay.
