1965-1970 was the golden era Bearcats football they were among the best in the state drawing crowds that filled both sides of C.W. Post field.
I am a “cheerleader” for all the DICKERSON guys that played Bearcat football. I can remember a lot of Friday nights sitting in the stands cheering the teams to victory. They were ALL GREAT players and contributed a lot to the BCCHS football program. It started with my brother, James (Jimmy-1976) and continued with my nephews, Demond (1992), Ryan (2000) and Jordan (2003).
GO BEARCATS and let’s bring BCC back to the “Pride of the State”!

The best runningback in school history
The only one i know ran over 200 yards in one game.
All good candidates but too bad that Jim Yore was left off this list. Jim set rushing records at BCC and Indiana U before playing with the 49ers and Lions.
Jordan is by far the best football player of all time!!
