Glenn's death was lame - I wish it would have switched it up. I guess the episode did the job of weeding out some people though. Zombie genre is not for you, friends.

I've been an enthused fan of the show for six seasons. Tonight, I was repulsed by it, and realized that I'm done with watching the show's heros get knocked down, to then pursue resolution to another evil character. The show has clearly jumped the shark. I'm out.

Just saw the opening scene ..stopped watching t h e very unnecessary gore immediately and then found this site for a review - I'm done!

This was a very hard episode to watch. At first with Abrahams death I thought okay that was a bit much, but the writers want to make it dramatic. When Negan lucilled and taunted a dying glen when glen was trying to speak... I was absolutely done. Those deaths should'nt have been done like that. I can't watch anymore of season 7.

Are you serious? It seems like more then half these comments are from band wagon viewers! It was sad to see Glenn and Abe go...my heart aches. I love the show and will follow it until the end! Love TWD!

I don't know what to think...this is beyond gross. I loved this show, I just wanted to see something positive but I guess that is unimaginable also..pleaseee fix this.

Absolutely nothing wrong with what happened. The show has been gory since day one. There has been many flesh eating guts and just because someone we love is killed in the same gory fashion now people want to check out. This show pushed the envelope and stayed true to the original source material. Thumbs up for willing to take it there. Great TV!

Sure was disappointed that the episode went the way it did. The show could have given Glen a little more of a fight at the end. Although it was closer to the comic book, it just didn't fit with the rest of the show we have seen for 6 previous episodes. Is the Walking Dead reaching for a new direction? Looks like the show is dead on arrival. Boo.

Been watching show since it began, tonight's show left me unnerved and stressed. Too much gore. I did not exspect see someone who has been on the show get their head smashed to a bloody pulp, sickening. I thought I'd have a heart attack. Considering not watching it any more, seeing great characters get killed by a psycho, no thanks.

I pledged to stop watching the show after the ridiculous cliff hanger. Glad to see so many others agree to no longer watch. This show has just become a shock and gore fest. The creative writing and plot twists of TWD are dead and soon.. The show will be too.

Honestly. Abe sucked yes, but the comic already showed Glens fate and it was no more gory than the comic either. I thought having Abe go and then bam surprise Glens dead, was genius. This shows getting better and better.

Couldn't watch Glens scene, had to turn my head. The whole incident left me nauseous. I stopped watching after Glen. Pretty damn disgusted. I've watched every episode, not any longer.

  • Craig Brickel - 8 years ago

It destroyed the show for me. I felt I had to watch to resolve the suspense. Then was assultef with gruesome murders of the heros, now an hour later I am still sick and upset. I wish i had never watched the show.

  • Unwatching Dead - 8 years ago

Overwhelmingly negative. I wonder if the ratings will find a similar fate.

  • Steve - 8 years ago

    I almost threw up

  • Alice - 8 years ago

it was totally unneccesaary. i am done watching the show.

  • lois graves - 8 years ago

Mixed feelings. It was quite the episode, but I think it was pushed too far. The living against the living is imaginable to a degree, but is there any hope to the madness.

  • Rich - 8 years ago

    Needless senseless gore.
Walking dead, youve lost a fan

  • Tracy - 8 years ago

We, the audience, were hostages to the last season finale. Now we are supposed to be hostages to the fate of Darryl. Rick didn’t chop off the arm but I will, just can’t watch anymore. Not that the producers of the show care.

    Have a nice day.

    I can't watch anymore
    This is too much
    It WAS my favorite show.

  • Tasha Shaw - 8 years ago

I thought the show was about the living killing the dead walkers to survive. Now its the living killing the living and you barely see the walkers unless they are captured. No more walking dead its should be the living dead series.

  • Linda - 8 years ago

This was way off what I thought it could have been. I thought they went way to far with Negan. I believe u can b a jerk but this went so far as being annoying. I can't waste my time watching annoying.

  • Michelle - 8 years ago

As sad as I am to say it..I am more than likely done with The Walking Dead. I've watched every episode from the begin but this was just too much.

  • Stac - 8 years ago

    Just disqusting! Done with it!

  • TrueKingCalix - 8 years ago

And Negan would say, " We got a bunch of pussies!".

  • Juliana - 8 years ago

Such strong visceral reactions, writers must have done their job.

  • Rachel - 8 years ago

After watching every episode for 6 seasons, I'm done. I feel let down and disappointed. Cliffhangers, Drawing out the suspense even further for just suspense sake - then shock just for the emotional factor: no thanks.

  • Deb - 8 years ago

So upset - could not watch 80% of the first 20 minutes. It was too over the line. So disappointed that the gory visions were manufactured to be so real. No one needed to see that. I agree with the earlier comment on the review stating the audience had been violated - Not certain I'll continue watching

  • L - 8 years ago

I actually turned it off when I realized where it was headed with Carl's arm. Glad to read how it ended, but still think I'm done with the show.

  • Alex Scott - 8 years ago

I agree with Ethan. Most times when a show becomes extremely popular the writers become arrogant. This season premiere was garbage. I hope that it gets better.

  • Lee - 8 years ago

Just sad that a show with such potential has sunk so low honestly still speechless from watching emotions have been violated

  • Ethan - 8 years ago

Seeing peoples comments here..and I thought maybe I was only one who felt the writers of show were abusing the audience...what a disgusting wretched show.

  • wow - 8 years ago

no longer watching....was a fan so long

  • Applegator - 8 years ago

I find it disgusting that the writers of The Walking Dead have to make the deaths of beloved characters (or any character for that matter) so gory. It's sickening enough to make me want to stop watching.

  • Done with this show - 8 years ago

Not even going to watch the episode, just done. Bye walking dead you were so close.

  • Bill Deal - 8 years ago

    And I'm out!
