I agree, I don't actually feel, safe, you could say it, seeing what Starlight's done, like her manipulating Twilight's friends for her own desires, and that whole finale was a mess, I never saw Starlight as a leader there and there were so many things wrong with it.

I want her off the show, plain and simple; she's one of the biggest wastes of time and most poorly written characters I've ever seen, she's a big example of wasted potential.

Yeah and the language isn't any help either. "You want to see more of her" also is going to suck up anyone who just simply doesn't want her to fall to the wayside, instead of there being a "I like her but I think she has just enough screen time" option.

I still find her "redemption" utterly unbelievable and really, her actions in season 6 just make me think she's a danger to herself and others. Too much magical power with very little in the way of morality. Also, how in the name of Celestia was she a good leader in the finale? She went in without any plan to actually destroy the throne and accomplished nothing but getting her entire team captured and they only won through deus ex machina.

Though I have to admit that dividing negative feedback into 3 and funnelling all positives into 'I am crazy for her" IS pretty par for the course for a propaganda website like EQD.

Starlight was the best thing to happen to the show in a long time, if only because the Mane 6 are pretty much done as far as character development. The best parts of season 6 focused on new characters with their own problems. We can't keep having Twilight and the others relearning the same lessons over and over, or else we end up with episodes like P.P.O.V., where the story forces everyone to act like childish idiots in service of the lessons. Hell, poor Twilight being stuck in the castle and not going out on adventures has become kind of a running joke now, so having her dealing with the problems of having a student gives her a new direction and space for the character to grow.
Honestly, it's time to start winding down Friendship is Magic and to move on to the next generation of pony, before the show starts getting really creaky and forced.

Starlight Glimmer is overrated. She ruined the show's potential and mades season 6 the worst season ever made, if she hogs the two-parters as much as season 6 or more I'll hate her even more. Re-mane six for two parters for once, and to people going agains this: Stop being so damn greedy, Starlight's had her two-parters. I'll love her when the re-mane six each gets that kind of two-parter spotlight, never before.

Starlight Glimmer needs to be put on trial for the crimes she committed in season 5, be found guilty, and be euthanized in accordance with Equestrian law. She was the most sinister villain FIM ever had; and it's not okay to simply claim that shes been redeemed, and to make her a hero in the show.

Starlight Glimmer is fantastic , I wasn't too keen on her at first, but I grew to really like over this season and now with her solid performance in the finale I can easily say I'd love to see more of her.

One of the best things to come out of MLP in my opinion. Strong driving force for the show and her episodes were the highlight of season 6, especially the season finale which might be my favorite season finale.
Idk if I like her more than any of the mane 6 tho. Fluttershy is my least fav of the mane 6 (of course I still love her) but even then it's like nah. Maybe after another season of Starlight maybe.
Her dynamic is awesome, especially with Trixie, I hope in season 7 they explore her dynamic with in the mane 6 like episodes with Starlight and Rainbow Dash or Starlight and Rarity etc.
Until such time as we get a better feel that Glimmer is actually _doing_ something in Castle Hideous, I'm neutral. She had some good character development in the finale, but otherwise it looks like she's not really keen on this whole Friendship study program. It looks more like therapy for Glimmer and if Twilight had been actively teaching Friendship to Glimmer, one semester would have been more than enough. So, Starlight Glimmer and Trixie could move in with Sunburst and have their own Three's Company spin-off, and that would be fine with me.
