Only happen because somebody is make a lots of money and have back with politicians. Maybe a corrupter one. We never will know. Because it only going to organize for then and make sure you have to buy a new truck every fill years. Right. No more nice looking trucks on the road, only the bad looking ones from manufacturer(slavery). work, work, work, and pay.

The led has only proven one thing. The carriers can now treat their drivers like slaves and get away with it.

My comment is it's going to to great a lot of problems in 1 loads being late for pick up and delivery 2 won't have time to stop because your on a 14 he clock.drivers are going to be pushing to get as much done in a 14 hr period 3 parking is going to worse to find them it is now even though it's bad now 4 your going to have a lot more accidents.5 there's going to be a huge shortage of driver worse they already is now mostwont put up with staying out on the road longer with lousy pay.6 there's going to be a 10 to 15 percent in pay reducion . since the government and those who granted this law expect it to back fire on you all in all aspects of this industry.I know you say it's about saving lives when in reality it's about being in control of the transportation of goods .show me a potitcain. That's cares about the American people I show u God .I have been driving for 27yrs and the more lead you keep shoving on us the worse it's going to get .I have seen more accidents in the last three yrs then I did 20 yrs ago ..we as profesional drivers only cans do so much . we do not have control over what these cars do when you all know 75 percent of the car truck accidents are caused by 5th car..but that's alright because if I can't make the money in making now and be home more them I will come off the road and go back to school for something els .ya I can hire 20 or more to replace me that's all good none will be as good as me or the older one out here with the most experience.

ELD's are a joke! I also agree with Jerry, but in order for that to work, trucking companies would have to and together. The large companies would love to see us little guys raise our rates, enabling them to swoop in and "save" the shipper from "price gouging". Incentives for the mega companies would be a must. Never did like big companies

This is great country with power of choice , if want drive on toll road that's ok, if not that's ok too.
The same with Paper or ELD , do not take great choice from Truckers! Thank you!

Instead of fighting to continue our run all day for pennies attitude, maybe we should continue making the same or more money and run less. Slowing down shouldn't hurt your finances so lets raise rates to compensate for the lost daily miles. If you can now only run two loads where you used to run three, then a 50% increase in rates is justified. Let the shippers fight this one for us.
