Will Yoenis Cespedes re-sign with the Mets?

Yoenis grew up in harsh conditions and financially it was difficult for him. He has also has had a successful but difficult baseball career, have to constantly switch teams. In my opinion, Cespedes wants to be financially secured for the rest of his and his families lives. I also believe he also would like the opportunity to have lasting impressions on some team. Staying in New York is what he has expressed last year, which he eventually did. Some may argue that the structure of the contract may have played a role in his decision but we all can agree that we will find out how bad he wants to stay in New York. I believe if the mets offered him a 4 or 5 year max deal with a club option for the 4th or 5th year, he would re-sign.

Shot in the dark here but anything is possible, reminiscent from the days of "THE BOSS", WITH a Small chance to swoop in and snag Yoenis for big salary, less years with options. Although they'd have to be sneaky and trade Brett Gardner make room for their new Bigtime LF. never know?

Cespedes is happy with the Mets. They just need to have the right offer on the table to keep him. I say he's worth the investment considering all he's done in a met uniform. The time is now.
