Ppl who spend 1500 on a purse obviously have money to just throw around on meaningless things.

To the woman that said "watch your child" obviously is not a motger or ever dealt with one that is vomiting.

As for the woman that 'couldn't clean it' is a lazy, selfish woman. I was in a similar situation where I was in a minor car accident that caused a slight dent in a bumber. It was an older vehicle. I ws told I had to replace the whole bumber. Go to drop off the money (which came off credit and had essentially shorted us on groceries) and this couple lives in a mansion. Later find out that it could have been repaired for a fraction of the cost. People will use any opportunity to scam ppl for money. Money is evil. Have some respect for ppl that struggle to make ends meet for the love of god

Anyone who has nice things would understand that it is the parent's responsibility to replace this bag. As a collector of handbags, I understand that she could not just "clean the bag". I have no issue with her giving the parents the damaged bag. They should replace the bag. If it is used, they could go to any number of on line shops that carry "previously loved" handbags in a variety of conditions. Once she assess the condition of the bag, she could go and purchase another " authentic" (it's important to go to reputable sites as you have to be careful of scammers) bag in that same condition. Even a bag that is new without tags would be at least 20-30% cheaper than a new bag. Unfortunately Louis Vuitton Never Full (that is the bag pictured) do not have steep discounts unless they are in used condition with obvious signs of use. So in this case, the bag may still cost upwards of $1200-1300. Suck it up and buy the lady a new bag...

I would never in my wildest dream believe a woman can request for a replacement because a child threw up on her designer bag,if she is a mother, she should know that if a child messes up whatever she has is a blessing, it' wasn't the parent's or the child's fault, something cropped up with the child's system which could happen to an adult.
Moreover, that bag is not new, come to think of it, if it were robbers that had beaten the woman n collected the bag with whatever that is important to her, what will she do?ask for replacement? If she has a child and the child messes the bag with stool, what will she do?This particular bag will in the long run be dropped some day n another one gotten, don't be mean, let it go please, you are going nowhere with that bag,it's an earthly thing.

Its really sad to hear people say nasty things i will term them. People always in a situation day things that they gorget can happen to anyone including themselves. Yes the bag is expensive but the owner should at least have a resolution with the parents. What if whiles walking down the road her bag or her body hits the mirror of a ferrari would she not apologise. If she were asked to pay for the damage or scratches on that mirror would she. Wouldnt she say it was an accident. For crying out loud if she should accidentally bump into someone and spill their coffee which lands on someone else expensive dress would she take the person to a boutique and buy a new one when it was an accident. Come on accidents happen and yes the bag is expensive but lets know we are dealing with our fellow humans. Where is the love? It can even happen to her own child to say in school or in the playground. And for those so bent on making noise about the bag that the woman should pay lets all be sensitive a little bit. So much focus on the bag forgetting about our fellow brothers and sisters. For the record worse could happen to you or me so let love reign.

Accidents do happen, I have empathy for the parents. They must have been mortified and did try to rectify the problem somewhat.

However, if you hit my car because you were distracted by a vomiting child, you would have to pay for it. Property was destroyed by the result of an accident. Yes they should replace her bag. It's the right thing to do.

How old is the bag? They owe not the replacement cost but the depreciated value of the bag. Do they not have homeowner or tenant insurance as that
policy would cover them for liability and the claimant can take her claim up with th.

If they end up having to pay for a replacement purse then they should be able to have her original "non salvageable" purse. If she is scamming at least she would only have a brand new purse and the parents would have the chance to clean the old one and re sell it at a discounted price...

I carry my 1800+ dollar bags with me and the flight attendants ask you to place them under the seat infront of you. People asking why it was on the floor... Becuase she didn't want it out of her sight obviously. Louis bags are expensive for a reason no febreze can fix that. She's not scamming them at all. Replace the bag, set up a payment plan arrangement. I would be furious if this happened to me. Chances are also if she has enough for bags like this she has enough for a good lawyer too. You caused the problem so fix it. And take more responsibility observing your child gosh. There are ways to prevent puke getting all over. Crazy.
