My wife passed away just over two years ago, she would hide her face as soon as a camera was in sight.
As a consequence me and the family have very few memories of her. You should perceiver with family photography or time will lead you to regret it.
I've answered 'no' because my family has never been too keen on being on the receiving end of my hobby but it is something I would have loved to have been more involved in.
Your article about Amy Drucker was a real treat and a style of picture taking I wish had been more acceptable when my daughters were young in the 90's.
