I was born 1984...my father loves to singing Christmas song like this and for me,"Last Christmas-Wham!" is the best song ever! Let's give tribute to George Michael.
Clay Aiken Christmas music is the best IMO. I love Mary Did You Know...but it is hard to pick just one.

Band Aid - "Do They Know It's Christmas". A classic. Also, it's obvious one person is posting under different names for that Morrisette person. No one knows who that is. Let it go..

Clay Aiken sings a stunningly beautiful "Mary Did You Know". He does a fantastic "O Holy Night" as well...but, that was written LONG before your guidelines of 1950 through 2016 ????

In the history of Christmas music, the past 50 years has been the most diverse. This generation is no exception, an influx of very young talent has embraced these heartfelt Christmas songs, and it will surely be played for years to come. One exceptional young talent that fits this bill is 20 year old Morissette Amon of the Philippines. When you hear her rendition of "Oh Holy Night", at first, she'll lure you in with the soft low register, then as she is telling a story through her vibrating runs, you start to stare and pay attention. The voice starts to build volume, her high octave makes your eyebrows rise, your mouth open wide. Then you wonder if she'll hit the word DEVINE. Then she does her extended 'whistle note' to hit that word, the hairs at the back of your neck, the goosies from every part of your body starts to make you quiver uncontrollably. As she finishes the last couple of lines to the song, you look at her and say to yourself, she is an angel born on this earth that was blessed to do this for the whole world to see and hear. Did I mention she is 20, and she is about to conquer the world of music. Look Out World, she will 'Slay Your Existence'. Thank you Billboard!

My vote goes to Morissette Amon's Oh Holy Night. She has 3 videos of this song on YouTube. I see that some of the links have been posted here already. She also has a video of her cover of All I Want For Christmas: https://youtu.be/qdatyuIc_MI
