Thank you for naming her Twinkle Spirit. I will now try to replace the haunting image in my head from yesterday (and the sound of the thud, followed by my hysterics that I had killed a living creature), with the image of Twinkle Spirit.
BTW, our Muffin looks very much like yours, except that I've long suspected that our Muffin has 'purr' and 'bite' in catley tattoos across her front paws under her fur and invisible to us mere humans. These two being her favourite things to do.

I am very sad to say that I am just (mentally) recovering from killing a deer this morning. The dang thing stuck it's head out from a bushy verge and I hit it almost instantly from the impact of the front corner of my car. My vegetarian 11 year old was in the car (school run) and was obviously as upset as I was.
In honour of this terrible and extremely sad accident, I would like to nominate the name Spirit, so that the deer is remembered.
