I hate the rear side windows! I am NOT a Ford fan, but their Edge looks pretty good to me. Maybe GMC can poach their designers? I won't buy another as long as they look like that. The Equinox isn't any better, it looks like it swallowed a mini van. People started buying suv's to get away from mini vans, and GM decides to make suv's look like mini vans! Not all of us need a family wagon. Some of us just want to load the girl, and the dog up, and go for a nice drive in a suv.

To me it looks like a warmed over Hyundai. Like every other small SUV on the road

I like the size and rugged looks of my 2014 Terrain. It was a unique size in a big field of SUVs. That said, life is about change and I like the changes in the 2018 Terrain. The three new engine choices should help mileage and power, especially vs the current I-4. Visibility from the rear quarter Windows looks limited, but the same is true in the current body. I don't have a problem with losing the shift lever in favor of electronic shifting, though I'll have to drive one to see if the ergonomic placement is right for me. I do think the true compact size will cause me to check out compact SUV competitors, but I am anxious to drive the new Terrain.

Just once, why can't you leave a perfect vehicle alone? I have had 2 Terrains and from the looks of
the 2018 there will NOT be a third!! I know you only worry about what the under 30 group likes,
but remember something, there are lots of us over 30 with a lot of money. Perhaps you might like to
talk to someone in that group before you start redesigning a vehicle. The previous Terrains had a
wonderful look. Whoever told you this one is beautiful do not know what they are talking about.
Those rear 'windows' on the sides make absolutely no sense.
Thank you for listening: a soon to be former Terrain owner.
