I truly enjoyed family outings to the Zoo and Aquarium as a child in the 60's and 70's. However, we know better in 2017 so we need to do better. No more animals in captivity for our personal enjoyment.

It's time money was spent on fixing the planet not watching slaves suffer. Empty the tanks.

Orcas in the wild can live to over 100 years old. Captive orcas live under less than half of that. Cetaceans deserve freedom and not to be slaves for our entertainment. These aquariums only exist to line the pockets of the greedy unethical people that run them. Shut them down and surrender the creatures to a sanctuary.

I recommend laying in your bathtub for a week. See how much you enjoy that.

How many people go to the aquarium in a year, is this not public opinion as well. What is next the house hold pet that is stuck in the house while the owners are at work?

Have these people not seen "The Cove". Those who want to keep whales in captivity should go watch that movie on Netflix
