I am not proud of my country. A Muslim ban? Where does it say in the constitution that there is a religious test to enter this country? Oh, that's right, it doesn't. I am far more afraid of an American with a gun then dying from a terrorist attack. But what Trump has done has played right into the hands of ISIS- see? Americans hate Muslims, Join us! I never thought I would live to see my country going down the road to fascism, but I am seeing it. And I always promised myself I would not stand silent and afraid if I did see it happening. What if the Germans had stood up and said no to Hitler, or the Italians to Mussolini? If we don't want Democracy to die in this country then we need to defend it.

I am so embarrassed and angry! I taught refugee students for 20 years. With few exceptions, they were and are some of the most hard-working, generous people I know. Stop listening to fake news and stereotyping and read some statistics. Do you realize how many native born Americans are killed each year by other native born Americans? Thousands and thousands! It isn't Muslims who are tearing our country apart. It's money. It isn't people on welfare you need to worry about: it's the greedy 10% who are destroying us. Wake up! Read! A billionaire could spend $1500.00 a day for over 1500 years before he'd be broke! And it's not "trickling" down to you. And he's not paying taxes on most of it. The alt-right agenda will hurt all of us.
