She has every right to be on her phone and owes nothing to anyone
It is common sense that when in a public place to talk low and be respectul of others
If I were the girl, I would have turned around and given him a piece of my mind
I think speaking in public on your phone is in inapprorpirate unless it's very important
Phones should be banned from all restaurants/cafes/coffee shops
It was rude to the others but it was equally rude for the man to turn around and chastise her

I can so relate Tina. I take the LIRR and this is an everyday occurrence.
