It's the LESLIE B KNOPE trophy for garsh sakes!!!! So of course it belongs to the Pasadena City Hall where in fact the Leslie B spent all of her work time while in Pawnee. Yeah! That's right! I said it! The beautiful Pasadena City Hall was the filming backdrop for Parks and Rec and I'm sure that it'd be some sort of copyright infringement or somethin' if Pasadena didn't get the trophy.

Truly an amazing building! I have seen many Pasadena visitors stop and take countless photos of it. It is stunning when lit up at night. It is so lovely against a bright blue sky with clouds and snow covered mountains in the background. The perfect background for summer concerts and Winter holiday programs. The courtyard with it's graceful fountain is a jewel.

Pasadena City hall is amazing. The décor is outstanding, and very peaceful to just sit on a bench and either read a book, or just to relax.

Peoria's City Hall is a magnificent gem in the heart of Downtown. Our city is a magnificent gem in the heart of America. Peoria has top-notch colleges and universities, such as Bradley University and an extension of the University of Illinois, as well as the U of I School of Medicine. We have state of the art medical facilities and one of the largest Children's Hospitals at OSF as well as the St Jude Midwest Research Center, which hosts the Memphis-Peoria Run every year. We're home to the Susan G Komen Foundation for breast cancer research. We are also home to Caterpillar Inc world headquarters, and the USDA research facility where penicillin was discovered. From Peoria have come many celebrities, from the comedy of Richard Pryor, to the music of Gary Richrath of REO Speedwagon, Dan Fogelberg, and Mudvayne. Our high schools and Bradley University have produced several names in sports such as Joe Girardi, Jim Thome, AJ Guyton, Shaun Livingston and Howard Nathan, Dick Versace, Matt Savoie, and Jack Brickhouse and Charley Steiner. Even though I grew up in Illinois and admire Peoria, Pasadena's City Hall is truly iconic -- an absolute marvel!
Pasadena City Hall, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as listing #80000813. The courtyard was used in the 1995 movie "A Walk in the Clouds" to portray a Napa Valley town square, and a villa in Charlie Chaplin's Oscar-nominated 1940 film "The Great Dictator." Television shows Parks and Recreation and The Big Bang Theory are set in Pasadena as well. Who can forget that Changeling starring Angelina Jolie was also filmed at Pasadena City Hall.

Pasadena City Hall is absolutely gorgeous at all times of the year. In warm weather, you can stroll around and walk through the perfectly manicured rose garden, during the holiday season a beautiful Christmas tree is located at the front. Any time is a great time to visit or be photographed at Pasadena City Hall.
I mean seriously, Pasadena City hall has been in countless movies, TV shows and...oh by the way...the trophy is named after the main character of a show that was filmed at Pasadena's City Hall. Get with it people!

Built in 1927, Pasadena City Hall is a shining example of a truly successful major seismic retrofit.
The renovation of Pasadena City Hall earned a LEED Gold certification. Upon completion in 2007, the Los Angeles Times noted: "In a city where historic preservation is much like a civic obsession, City Hall has long been among the crown jewels of Pasadena... Although the renovation has been among the costliest public works projects in Pasadena, city officials decided that they couldn't risk losing the landmark in another quake." It is a significant architectural example of the City Beautiful movement of the 1920s and an important representation of Spanish Colonial Revival and Mediterranean Revival architectures.

Pasadena City Hall is one of the majestic buildings in Pasadena and in Southern California. Not only is it beautiful but it is rich in history and community. There is not a day that goes by that photos are not being taken inside of the amazing architecture and serene rose covered courtyard with a gorgeous flowing water fountain in the center. It is also the face of City Hall in the show Parks and Rec, which proves that it has star quality.
Pasadena's City Hall is the premier example of unsurpassed style and beauty among city halls in the US.
It also stands as an example of the level of excellence that citizens expect of their elected officials and public servants.

For all of its faults (overpriced, subpar schools, etc.) Pasadena's City Hall is amazing. So are the parks. So are the museums. So are the colleges -- Caltech, Pasadena City College, Fuller Theological Seminary, etc. But that City Hall...wow.

I own a restaurant in Pasadena. It's a terrible place to do business, but a great place to live. Iit is beautiful. City Hall is amazing. Imagine that a city of 15,000 people in 1926 built this building.
