Yakapov was cheap as a bag of nails and capable of playing on any line. Unfortunately (my opinion only) not particularily intelligent and not a self-starter. This would drive any coach crazy for the amount of extra work required to manage him. When it becomes less work to fire a bad employee then to micromanage them...
