I’ve only ever used Tony Cacheres but sometimes I need something less spicy and I read this article because I was hoping to find out. Oh well, guess I gotta try it! ????????

Slap Ya Mama over Tony’s every day of the week. I’m from Ville Platte, I know more about these than most. But I can tell you, Teet’s Grocery in Ville Platte released a new “All-Purpose” seasoning that blows both of the these out of the the water. BUT, nothing will ever top Targil’s (Opelousas, LA) Red Rub seasoning, it is by far the most superior.

Grew up on one spice: Tonys. Tried Slap Ya Momma couple years ago. Full on conversion. Less sodium. Almost same ingredients. Classic case you can create a similar product and dominate (great for Econ class if people everywhere knew the products). Because I've seen myself change, I allow myself to try new things maybe I will love. Since living in Texas, now, Adobo is a new go-to favorite.

Tony’s taste is too nostalgic for me. Gotta ride wit T.

You gotta stick with tradition and keep it pure with Tony's. Dats what my momma would do. Can't eat pizza ???? without it. And it comes MSG free.

Slap ya momma has no MSG. Lots of local groceries have their own spices. My family uses Rod's made by the people you own the Fezzo's Restaurants, but made for a grocery store in Church Point.
