Lucifer threw the sword into the tear after his mother. He told her to go and create her own world. He told her to fill it with light and so forth. Is it not possible that Mum somehow was able to come back with that sword long enough to knock Lucifer out and trap him in her new world that she hasn't quite created yet? They really seemed to focus on how bright the light from the sun was. And there was nothing else...just basically the sun and a never ending Desert. I have no clue, but that is where my mind immediately went to! Either way, we'll find out soon enough! And I cannot wait! I think Lucifer is an outstanding show… Nothing else on TV quite like it!

I was hoping Chloe would of been able to see the real Lucifer b4 this season was over. Hopefully we don't have to wait a whole season again. I mean is her character supposed to be "THAT" dense for her to not at least Wonder if he is who his name is? Wow.

Wondering if this has anything to do with time starting over from the beginning? Lucifer referred to "moving forward" to both his mother and his last message to the detective. And that his mom wanting to "start over" was moving backward. Is this Lucifer's "hell" or purgatory? Being forced to relive this life over and over? Like Groundhog Day? BTW. Not the first time Ms. Helfer was in a TV show about time repating itself "again and again and again..." (Battlestar Gallactica)
I think it was Armanadiel who hit him. Bc Chloe wasn't arround so he was invincible against humans. Idk why but if you have a theory text me on twitter :

Y did it have to end without him letting Chloe see the real him before been hit on d head next season should start quickly... Its a nice movie just expected more at the season 2finale
