It's unfortunate that hockey takes a back seat to the other sports. In general, the NHL playoffs have always been better than the NBA, as with this year as in other years, ex. LA Kings, a #8 seed has a chance to win the Stanley Cup, which would never happen in the NBA. Hockey needs to promote players like Subban, McDavid, Mathews, etc, and to the inner cities, so that hockey can get the media coverage on TV and radio it deserves.
As the greatest game, and most exciting game in the world, the NHL deserves better than a 1 to 20 ratio in coverage compared to the NBA!

Okay. The Question isn't about the overall playoffs in which I agree NHL is better but as a finals, if Cleveland gets back into and tie it up the same way Nashville did, then NBA will be better finals.

Easy choice. NHL playoffs are consistently better. NBA playoffs have been awful & uncompetitive.

Hockey is faster checks fights even a catfish or two, And hockey players play harder and don't cry when things don't go there way. I think LaBron watches to much soccer. Games got boring, money has ruined the game and it's only going to get worse.

Right now I would say NHL. but all Golden State did was hold serve home court. If Cleveland does the same thing, I think it would be a more intriguing rest of championship series and especially game 7 with the NBA compared to the NHL. Everyone was acting the same way when Nashville was down 2-0

there are multiple stars to watch, they just play on their own team instead of building a super team. Teams typically build through the draft unlike the NBA! Towes/Kane, Mathews, Rochelle, mcdavid,Malkin/Crosby, Oshie/ovi,

Two more blow outs in the NBA and that series is over. NHL will go 7 and be competitive. The great NBA star Charles Barkley was right last night when he said the NHL is more fun to watch! You would never hear a NHL star say the NBA is more fun to watch.
