Another reason she didn't win the popularity vote.

Dealing with fans is part of the job. Any other public official official who cursed at the public would be fired. Are you listening Tony?

I'm a Danica fan. She tends to be a little hot headed at times however most drivers are. Fans are an important part of any sport. As with any product if no one buys it for what ever reason it will go away.

Danica is a spoiled little brat thru and thru. She never signs autographs i have seen her make little girls, dressed head to toe in her merchandise, cry because she never has time for them. Funny how all the other drivers manage to find time to sign autographs. Any driver who doesnt think that taking time out for fans is part of their job is no one i will ever respect or support. I cant wait for the day she leaves this sport and hopefully without ever winning a race. BOOOOOOOOO Danica. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Little miss cry baby she was so busy yet had time to tell them they hurt her feelings lmao get outta here no wonder why you will never win in nascar your way to sensitive.you honestly think any orher drivers care if people boo them nope they dont.and if she cant handle fans at her job then your in the wrong job nascar fans are the reason you get to drive.

The boos simply meant that they would have liked her to come over and sign some autographs.
Miss High and Mighty needs to realize that her fans would've understood that she didn't have time to stop had she just walked on by them, maybe waved and smiled.
Makes one wonder just how pressed for time she was given she had time to stop and present a lecture about her feelings. A little emotional that day, perhaps or just a little self-centered.

You would not like to be bothered on your job. So don't bother them on their job.

Danica is an example of what is wrong with nascar today. If the fan was in a place where he shouldn't have been, then I have no problem with security stopping him. It's Danica's response that needs attention from nascar, her car owner, and her sponsors, along with her fellow drivers. Perhaps a better response from her could have been "I'm sorry, fans are important to me, but i have to go to the drivers meeting right now" or where ever it was she was headed. The problem is there are too many hot headed drivers nowadays who didn't have to 'pay the dues' that other drivers had to do to build the sport into what it is today. Too many are benefiting from the hard work of those that came before them, and feeling that they are on a pedestal above the fans. The ones that built the sport understood something, there would be no NASCAR without the fans. Never would you have heard Richard Petty, Ken Schrader, Benny Parsons, or any of the other drivers from the golden, growing days of NASCAR look at the crowd and say "my job is not to sign autographs, right? My job is to drive a car and to tell the crew chief what’s going on". They may not have been in a position at a given moment to accommodate a fan, but never would the people who built this sport ever look at the fans and tell them they weren't important. Take note Danica, and the other young drivers out there with attitudes, without fans in the stands there would be no cars on the track. NASCAR also take note, I believe the reason you are seeing less fans in the stands and more difficulty in obtaining sponsors is in direct relation to the direction NASCAR has chosen to go right now along with too many young drivers that have little or no respect for the fans, the sport, or what it took over the years to build it. For anybody who ever had the privilege of watching Richard Petty around the fans, Danica's actions basically was a spit in his face. Whether she cursed at them or not, don't tell the fans of the sport they are not important to you. Pretty soon, you'll find out you're not important to them.

Was Danica right? Yes, and No. Like most things , speaking in the heat of the moment, rarely ends well. , Signing autographs may not be a primary function . it is how ever part of the job in the right location/time. Danica should have just left it alone. With things being as they are for her and the possibility of losing her ride, The fans when confronted as they were won't give a damn with the thought process that another Driver will be found to replace her.

Danica did NOT "Curse Out Fans"! That is a lie. She tried to explain herself to a group of low class, trash. These people have no respect. The person responsible for writing this misleading, inaccurate headline is a big part of the problem also. So-called "Journalists" who cater to the haters by taking cheap shots at people like Danica Patrick should bee ashamed of themselves. Danica Patrick is a very courageous woman with a big heart. She is a very talented race car driver as well. Danica is a true pioneer in NASCAR. It is time for low class, sexist, hate-filled trash to be recognized for what they are. Journalists who cater to these people are not journalists at all. They are cheap shot artists.
