This is for Carla who thinks that Kyra looks too old to be this young lady’s mother. If you check out IMDb you will see that Kyra Sedgwick looks amazing at 52. This would have made her 40 when she had her daughter which is very possible. The character Kyra plays has been on some pretty hard core drugs for some time. Add to that the lack of sleep her character showed us in the first episode. This would make anyone look older than they are. I believe that the make-up team deserves a huge round of applause for making Kyra look so haggard. They do a fantastic job. I think the casting in this show is fabulous. I love this show.

I like the show,but the actress Kyra is too old for the role, she looks in her late 50,and the child is too young to be her daughter.
