I would say that the panthers best option here is Samuel. He may not be as elusive as McCaffery, and don't get me wrong I would love to see McCaffery returning punts, but there is no other real depth at RB right now if he gets injured. Corn Elder is also a strong pick candidate but there is very slim depth in the secondary that is not worth taking any risks for. And he also doesn't have the elusiveness I like to see in a return man. It's good, not great. Joe Webb needs to stop. I understand he has some versatility, but I agree that he just doesn't have what it takes for that role on the team. Samuel is the best pick for me because of his inhuman speed, breakaway ablility, and his ability to go vertical and horizontal as a returner. Another reason he would be good is less risk. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to get hurt, but it would be less of a blow than Elder or McCaffery getting hurt. It's not my decision and I trust the staff in any choice they make, but I am just giving insight through my eyes in what I think should happen.
