I have known the proprietor of GoBig Accounting for many years. In fact, Ms. Nelson, MBA/CPA was one of our first volunteer mentors. It was not unusual for her to bring her young child to our mentor meetings in her arms; he has just graduated from Morehouse U. Ms. Nelson has always been an active supporter of community and small businesses. In fact, her GoBig Accounting location currently serves as an "incubator" for emerging small businesses, providing temporary office space, computer technology, and postal services. Her conference space provides a professional environment for business/community meetings. The space also provides space to host trainings (e.g., for the past year, the Economic Growth Initiative has been hosting Saturday morning technology and entrepreneurship trainings for youth and young adults). Ms. Nelson is a very welcoming individual always willing to share her expertise for the benefit of business and residents of the 17th & Madison neighborhood and surrounding communities!
Vena Nelson, CEO of Go Big Accounting, has helped a lot of businesses in the Maywood area. She always show her support and reach out to offer assistance when a new business needs its.
