Columbus guy, I do struggle to describe dialogue, mostly I've stopped worrying about style but sometimes get the urge to improve.

The high school one is an annoying kids one more than a romance. The number crunchers is a romance of sorts.

I read your suite saga and then a new blue. But I stopped reading around the time Blue and Chris started getting along in Blue's new town. But frankly, I lost interrest (and I couldn't wait for a new chapter before that). I love your writing style and I am looking forward to other characters!
The only other character whose name I recognize is Blue, so I voted for that and a high school club. I'm into romantic stories if you're familiar with mine, so those would be great too. I hope Blue can find love in time, no matter who it's with--he's had bad luck so far and deserves better in the end.
Stretch your wings and polish your craft, that is the most important thing, that you keep at it. The only suggestion I might make is to find additional ways to indicate who is speaking beyond 'X said'. I await every chapter of the Suite Saga, and hope it will continue!
