How do you handle PVA glue squeezeout cleanup?

I wipe it immediately with a wet rag or paper towel.

I peel it off after it’s begun to skin, when it’s still tacky.

I scrape it off with a chisel after it has hardened.

I hand-plane or Festool power-planer the dried glue.

I use a card scraper on the joints.

I sand and sand until there’s no glue left.

You’re supposed to clean off the squeezeout?
